Simply Save Money is a website primarily about three things:
1. living simply – reducing the clutter, noise, and unnecessary out of your life
2. using money – a minimalist approach to managing your finances: how to save it, spend it, and make it.
3. achieving much – get everything you want and need from life – no matter how much money you have.
Who’s Writing This Site?
Hi! I’m Chelle, the writer responsible for creating the content on this website.
I’m NOT a financial expert in the usual sense. I don’t have a degree in finance, nor have I ever worked in the finance industry. I cannot explain how a 401k savings plan works, nor do i really feel like it would benefit you if I could. I cannot advise you on investing in the stock market. I have no interest in regurgitating useless facts about the economy and things I slept through my macroeconimics class in college. I admit it right now: I am useless when it comes to these things. If you want facts and data and reports, the things I write about on this website is not going to help you.
What I am an expert in is knowing how to survive with absolutely no money at all. I didn’t grow up with having a lot of money. I didn’t get college scholarships. My parents didn’t buy me anything or pay my way. Before I met my husband, I was a single mom living on $7000 a year and working 2 jobs.
That is how I learned to become the queen of being frugal – I went through almost 24 years of my life not having any money at all. It is that experience which taught me that you can accomplish ANYTHING that you want to do – even with no money.
I can’t teach you how to diversify your stock portfolio for better investments. But I can teach you something even more important and more valuable – how to live a simple life you truly LOVE, to have everything you’ve ever wanted and needed, and be financially comfortable to the point you’ll never worry about money ever again.
